About the Instructor

Ms. Goad began training in Junior High School, she studied GoJuRyu Karate under Shihan Sensei Mickey Gomez in Wichita, Kansas in the early 80's.  When she graduated Dental Hygiene School she moved to Kansas City to start her new job. Ms. Goad began training in Shaolin 8 Animal Kung Fu and Weapons under Si Gung (Master Instructor) Scott Winokur  (www.kungfukc.com). Sometime there after she began learning  Xing Yong White Willow Style where she excelled and was promoted several times due to her dedication.  She also began learning Lung Lum Pai - Dragon Kung Fu and its' Weapon's System.  In 2005-06 Leslie learned Si Gung Winokur's Kardio KungFu and began a Saturday morning Aerobic Kickboxing program.  Ms. Goad earned the fighting name "Lochness" due to her Dragon type movements in the ring, where she is at home.  She has been a fierce competitor on the local, regional, and national tournament circut, winning a staggering amount of awards in numerous competitions.  Nearly unbeaten in the ring in the womens division, Leslie "Lochness Monster" Goad usually fights and wins; she has also won many forms and weapons awards, and has been honored on the Headquarters School "Wall of Fame" winning 3 or more awards in a single tournament more than any other student training today under Master Winokur.  Leslie now takes her turn and passes on her teachings and knowledge to her students of the 6 styles White Willow Kung Fu, Lung Lum Pai-Dragon Kung Fu, Trapping/Intercepting, Shaolin 8 Animal Kung Fu, Kardio Kung fu Aerobic Kickboxing, and Xing Yong Kickboxing ring fighting.  Ms. Goad also teaches Womens Self Defense Tactics, and continues to train and learn from Master Scott Winokur. She and her school are members of the USAXCMA-USA Xing Yong Chinese Martial Arts Association.
